Summer camp now offered to boys and girls ages 5 and up for students with no riding experience as well as beginner to advanced riders. Students are divided into groups with each camp based on their experience and riding ability. Campers will have 2 riding lessons per day and will be taught horse safety and care and learn the proper methods for grooming, tacking, leading and mounting. Students will learn the gaits important to English or Western riding, proper position and balance. Emphasis is placed on establishing a balanced and secure seat, instilling confidence and laying a foundation for further development. Sign up for multiple weeks for best advancement. The fun and companionship students experience while being with the horses they love is unforgettable. Things campers need: 1. Riding Helmet (statelinetack.com) or bike helmet 2. Boots and Sandals 3. Long pants/jeans 4. Swimsuit 5. Towel 6. Sunscreen 7. Sacked Lunch & Snack 8. Water Bottle 9. Change of clothes/shorts. We do have water activities (water slides and the horse wash!)
2012 SESSION DATES (Monday – Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm):
1st week camp session: May 21st – 25th
2nd week camp session: May 28th – June 1st
3rd week camp session: June 4th – June 8th
4th week camp session: June 18th – 22nd
5th week camp session: June 25th – 29th
6th week camp session: July 9th – 13th
7th week camp session: July 16th – 20th
8th week Jr. Instructor Camp: July 23rd – 27th
2012 SUMMER CAMP PRICES (priced in sessions):
1 week – $250
2 weeks- $450
Before and After care $10 per hour*
*Before care begins at 8am
*After care from 4pm till 6pm

Our “Pony Parties” are perfect for Special Occations, Birthday Parties, Class Field Trips or even just a ‘Fun Get Together’ among family & friends. We use wonderful, calm and patient horses and ponies that people of all ages and sizes can learn the joys of riding! You can customize your Pony Party however you like with games, themes, picnics, BBQs and decorations. Catering is available or you can bring your own food. Concessions area available with many outlets and a fridge and freezer for all you ‘potluck needs’.
There is plenty of room and fun for the whole gang. Lovely areas for picnics. Ample seating and tables next to the riding arena. PA system and choice of music available or bring your own.

Group Riding Lesson*
*During Group Riding Lesson each rider will learn proper methods in grooming, tacking and riding the horse. Choice of English or Western Riding. You or your guest may arrive at Promise Acres Equestrian Center a “city slicker”, but you are leaving here a horseman!
BASIC PONY PARTY PRICES
$25 per rider ($200 minimum)
